As a women, mother and an artist living in Seattle, I'm amazed by the natural beauty that surrounds me daily -- the glistening water, white mountain caps, blooming flowers, and saturated red maple trees; the vivid orange sunsets and sunrises, the white airy clouds, tan and gray driftwood, lush greens, rocky sand beaches, the sun peeking through the clouds making intense powerful rays of light, the smell of salt water, and the first heavy rain drops of the fall. Color creates an avenue for me to create and build upon connections from experiences, adventures, moments, emotions, nature and places. With this dynamic, I work with the interplay of movement and stillness, friction and harmony, resulting in moments of balance and peaceful suspension.
I received my BFA from Maine College of Art, Portland, Maine
Enjoy!
